Egg to Egg

This is video exists as part of a larger research project exploring the unpaid labor of women. There are two types of eggs in the video, the first being felt eggs made by other artists in a performative workshop I lead. The second, are porcelain eggs slip-casted by me. I pull apart the eggs made by others and use them to stuff the porcelain eggs to represent the labor of women that is appropriated and consumed by others.
